VUZH Ride-Sharing Platform (Zimbabwe) Last Updated: 18 May 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the VUZH mobile application and related services (the “Platform”), operated by Vibrance Pioneers (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered in Zimbabwe (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

 

1. Definitions

·       “Rider” means a user requesting transportation through the Platform.

·       “Driver” means an independent third-party providing transportation services through the Platform.

·       “Trip” means a transportation service requested by a Rider and accepted by a Driver.

·       “Subscription Plan” means a paid plan allowing Driver’s access to the Platform under defined terms.

 

 

2. Nature of the Platform

VUZH is a technology platform that connects Riders with independent Drivers.

We do not provide transportation services and are not a public transport operator.

Drivers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of VUZH.

 

 

3. Eligibility

You must:

·       Be at least 18 years old

·       Have legal capacity under Zimbabwean law

·       Provide accurate and truthful information

 

Drivers must also meet the requirements in Section 8.

 

 

 

 

4. User Accounts

You agree to:

·       Maintain accurate account information

·       Keep login credentials confidential

·       Accept responsibility for all activity on your account We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

-          Provide false information

-          Engage in fraud or abuse

-          Violate these Terms or Zimbabwean law

  

5. Rider Terms

Riders agree to:

·       Pay all applicable fares and fees

·       Behave respectfully toward Drivers

·       Not request illegal activities or transport prohibited items Riders may not:

-          Damage vehicles

-          Harass or threaten Drivers

-           Use the Platform for unlawful purposes

 

6. Fares, Payments & Currency

·       Fares are displayed before trip confirmation where possible

·       Payments may be made via mobile money, bank transfer, card, or cash, depending on availability

·       Charges may be in USD or ZWL, subject to prevailing exchange rates, we may apply:

-          Service fees

-          Cancellation fees

-          No-show fees

All payments are final unless otherwise required by law.

 

 

7. Cancellations & Refunds

·       Riders may be charged a cancellation fee if a trip is cancelled after acceptance

·       Drivers may cancel trips for safety or legal reasons

·       Refunds are issued at our discretion

 

 

8. Driver-Specific Terms

To register as a Driver, you must:

8.1 Legal Requirements

Drivers must:

·       Hold a valid Zimbabwean driver’s licence

·       Possess a valid ZINARA vehicle licence

·       Have roadworthy certification

·       Maintain valid motor insurance

·       Comply with all applicable transport laws

You are solely responsible for maintaining these documents.

 

 

8.2 Driver Obligations

Drivers agree to:

·       Provide safe and professional service

·       Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle

·       Accurately represent vehicle details

·       Not operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs

·       Comply with traffic laws at all times

 8.3 Independent Contractor Status

Drivers acknowledge that:

·       They are independent contractors

·       They control when and how they work

·       They are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, fuel, and vehicle maintenance. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship.

 

9. Driver Subscription Plans

Drivers must subscribe to a plan to access the Platform.

9.1  Available Plans

Subscription plans may include:

·       Weekly Plan

·        Monthly Plan

·       Pay-As-You-Go Plan

 

 

Each plan may differ in:

·       Cost

·       Trip limits

·       Commission structure

·       Visibility or priority access

Plan details are displayed in-app and may change from time to time.

 

 

9.2 Subscription Payments

·       Subscription fees are non-refundable

·        Failure to renew may result in account suspension

·       Payments may be in USD or ZWL

 

9.3 Commission

We may deduct a commission per trip, depending on the selected subscription plan.

  

10.  Ratings & Reviews

Users may rate and review each other. We reserve the right to:

·       Remove abusive or false reviews

·        Suspend accounts with consistently low ratings

  

11.  Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

·       Use the Platform for criminal activity

·       Harass, threaten, or assault others

·       Transport illegal goods

·       Attempt to manipulate fares or payments

·       Interfere with the Platform’s systems

12.  Intellectual Property

All Platform content, software, and branding belong to VUZH.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission.

 

 

13.  Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with:

·       Zimbabwean data protection laws

·       Our Privacy Policy

Location data may be collected for trip functionality and safety.

 

 

14.  Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is.”

We do not guarantee:

·       Driver availability

·       Trip completion

·        Exact fare estimates We are not responsible for:

·       Driver conduct

·       Traffic delays

·       Accidents or disputes between users

 

 

15.  Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Zimbabwean law, VUZH shall not be liable for:

·       Personal injury or death

·       Loss of income or profits

·       Indirect or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

16.  Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VUZH from claims arising from:

·       Your use of the Platform

·       Your violation of these Terms

·       Your interaction with other users

 

 

17.  Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts:

·       For Terms violations

·       For safety concerns

·       For legal or regulatory reasons

 

 

18.  Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe, unless otherwise agreed.

 

 

19.  Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. DRIVER AGREEMENT

VUZH Ride-Sharing Platform – Zimbabwe Last Updated: 3 April 2026

This Driver Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between VUZH, a company registered in Zimbabwe (“Company”), and the individual registering as a Driver (“Driver”).

By registering as a Driver on the Platform, you agree to this Agreement.

 

 

 

1. Independent Contractor Relationship

The Driver acknowledges and agrees that:

·       The Driver is an independent contractor, not an employee

·       No partnership, agency, or employment relationship exists

·        The Driver controls when, where, and how they provide services The Driver is solely responsible for:

-          Taxes, levies, and statutory obligations

-          Fuel, maintenance, insurance, and licensing

 

 

2.     Eligibility & Legal Compliance

The Driver represents and warrants that they:

·       Are at least 18 years old

·       Hold a valid Zimbabwean driver’s licence

·        Possess a roadworthy vehicle with valid:

-          ZINARA licence

-           Insurance cover

-           Roadworthiness certificate

·       Comply with all applicable Zimbabwean transport and traffic laws Failure to maintain these requirements may result in suspension or termination.

3. Use of the Platform

The Platform provides access to Riders seeking transportation. The Company:

·       Does not provide transport services

·       Does not guarantee trip volume or earnings

The Driver may accept or reject trip requests at their discretion.

 

 

4. Driver Obligations

The Driver agrees to:

·       Operate the vehicle safely and lawfully

·       Maintain professional conduct at all times

·       Not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs

·       Accurately represent vehicle and personal details

·       Ensure passenger safety and respect

 

 

5. Subscription Plans & Fees

Drivers must subscribe to an active plan to access trip requests.

·       Subscription fees are non-refundable

·       Fees may be charged weekly or monthly

·        Failure to renew may suspend account access

Subscription details are displayed in-app and may change without notice in line with inflation or other economic events.

 

 

6. Earnings & Payments

·       Fares are set via the Platform or agreed with Riders

·       The Company may deduct commissions or service fees

·       Payments may be made in USD or ZWL

The Company does not guarantee minimum earnings.

7. Ratings & Quality Control

Drivers agree to maintain acceptable ratings. The Company may:

·       Suspend Drivers with consistently low ratings

·       Investigate complaints

·       Remove Drivers for safety or misconduct concerns

 

 

8. Insurance & Liability

The Driver is solely responsible for:

·       Maintaining valid motor insurance

·       Any claims arising from accidents, injuries, or damages The Company is not liable for Driver actions or omissions.

 

 

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. The Company may immediately suspend or terminate for:

·       Safety concerns

·       Fraud or misconduct

·       Legal or regulatory violations

 

10.  Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe.

 

 

11.  Acceptance

By registering as a Driver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
